Stephanie Garcia, MSN, ANP-BC

Originally from Eden, N.C., Stephanie moved to the Asheville area because she loves the mountains and being in nature. Growing up in a medical household with her mom being a nurse inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing and then decided to continue to a higher level of nursing education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Nursing from University of Cincinnati.

Stephanie’s mom continued to be an inspiration in her nursing career, after being diagnosed with renal cancer she decided to work in oncology.  She really loves the interaction with her patients and developing a special bond as they journey from diagnosis to surveillance. 

In her time off Stephanie keeps busy with her three children, a dog, six chickens and two ducks.  She also enjoys hiking, mountain biking, running and power lifting.
