
Julie Ford, RN, MSN, FNP-BC
Julie is a board-certified nurse practitioner with 25 years of experience in health care. She earned her undergraduate degree from Lees-McRae College and later obtained a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from East Tennessee State University. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Previously, Julie worked as a nurse practitioner in acute care hospital medicine for four years. She is committed to promoting health by keeping her patients well-informed and advocating for their involvement in the decision-making process. Julie currently works in the outpatient triage clinic at Messino Cancer Centers and also rotates through the inpatient service.
Originally from Georgia, Julie moved to Asheville in 1995. In her free time, she enjoys all things outdoors, including mountain biking, backpacking, running and hunting. She also enjoys traveling, perfecting her sourdough baking skills, and creating memories with her husband and children.
